Roberta Borrelli is a young architect focused on interior design. This lead her to create her blog, Make Your Home, in 2012, dedicated to interior design. In her posts, Roberta not only describes jobs and trends, but she also tells real “design stories”.
In her latest story Roberta is working on an interior decorating project in Casa Vittoria, a beautiful vacation home in Agropoli in the province of Salerno. The final result comprises of four separate rooms, each named after one of the winds, and designed following Roberta’s taste and style, thus favouring minimalism and simple lines, all while keeping an eye on the budget.
The final result is simple, elegant and beautiful. It is definitely minimalist, but also inspired by the sea, through soft colours and finely picked details. This means lots of room for white and shades of blue, complemented by the natural tones of wooden furniture and accessories. And in the midst of the maritime setting of Casa Vittoria, our nautical chords fit right in, especially when matched with natural wooden ceiling roses and lampholders.
